We’d like to be easier to find than Waldo, especially since conference season is starting up and that means more chances to actually meet you all in person! So here’s our schedule for the next few months:
Kathy will be in Carollton, Georgia at the Georgia Grazing School to talk about weeds as the great forage they are and how to teach your livestock to eat them.
Rachel will be in Vermont with Ray Archuleta for fun with soil health. They’ll be in Franklin County on the evening of the 27th, and move to Addison County for the 28th.
December 1 and 2
Kathy will be in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Over the summer she coached folks up there as they taught their cows and sheep to eat Canada thistle. She’ll be meeting with those folks and sharing the training process with others interested in turning weeds into forage on their own ranches and Crown range.
December 13 – 16
We’ll both be at the National Conference on Grazing Lands. Not only are we speaking, but we’ve got a table reserved where we’ll be able to sit and chat. When we know what our the backdrop to our table will look like, we’ll post a picture so you can find us more easily. Our first thought was this, because we think donuts are very attractive:
But perhaps something more identifiable as On Pasture would be better?
We’ll let you know as we schedule more events. Let us know if there’s an event in your neighborhood where you’d like to see us. We’d really love to see you!
P.S. Now we have a strange hankering for a donut…
