What Will You Read While We’re on Holiday Break? Here are Some Tips

It’s an On Pasture tradition for Kathy and Rachel to take off the last week of every year to spend  some time with our families. So this is our last issue for 2016. We’ll be back on January 3, 2017 with lots more great stuff for you.

But we never leave you without something good to read! With 1,332 articles published since March 21, 2013, there’s surely something in our archives that you missed the first time, or that you’d love to find and read again.  Here are some hints for finding things at On Pasture.

First you can explore by author, or by category, or you can do your own search:

TagCloudThe Tag Cloud is another good way to find articles.  Tags are words associated with articles.  The Tag Cloud is a list of these words that appears in the narrow middle column of every page.  (Don’t see the middle column?  Make your browser window wider and it will appear.)  The larger the word, the more articles you’ll find.  Click on the word you’re interested in and the articles with that tag will show up.

Now, isn’t that a lot easier than searching through the recycling, or the piles of magazines by your bed?

We’re also happy to send you updates once a week when new articles go up.  You have two options for this.  You can send us your email and every Tuesday you’ll get a short newsletter with the names of the new articles.  Just add your email address below and click on “Subscribe” to get started.

If you’re a Facebooker, just like us On Facebook, and then check our page on Tuesdays for a link to the newsletter.  Check Facebook daily as we post new information once a day.

Last but not least, if you have some ideas for what you’d like us to cover in 2017, feel free to drop us a line.

We hope you enjoy exploring the On Pasture archives!

Thanks for reading and all your support that made 2016 a great year. We’re so glad you’re a part of the On Pasture Community!

Here’s to a great 2017!

Kathy and Rachel

    1. Thank you, Troy! Hope your holidays are festive and warm, with plenty of good times with family. Are you coming to VT Grazing Conference? Winter Green Up? See you there!
