Have You Always Wanted a Grazing Mentor?

Do you like to hear from experts on grazing management, and pasture and soil health?

If your answer to these two questions is yes, that’s probably why you’re part of the On Pasture community. Providing you with the practical, in-depth information you need to be a successful grazier is what On Pasture is all about.

But it can’t happen without you. We need your financial support to keep on providing support to the 110,000 readers who stop by every month, and to support the library of 2,349 articles, all available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you’re thinking, “Oh, someone else will send in money,” you might like to know that less than 1% of On Pasture readers send support. The only reason we don’t get really depressed about that is that we know we’re making a difference. Ninety-five percent of respondents to our last survey told us that they had changed the way they think or what they do as a result of reading On Pasture.

If we’ve helped you be more profitable and sustainable, we’re asking you to help us keep on doing that into the future by sending your support.

From the beginning we’ve thought of On Pasture as a Community Supported Agriculture venture where we provide useful information that helps you be more successful and, in return, we ask you to provide support at whatever level you can afford. So we’re asking you to do that now.

Your response today will help us plan for 2020. It also helps us as a match to the Natural Resources Conservation Service Conservation Innovation Grant that has made up the bulk of our operating budget for the last three years. Without that match, we just don’t get funding.

So, today, instead of letting me know that you appreciate On Pasture just by clicking to read articles, please click here and let me know you support On Pasture for the future.

Thanks for reading!

Kathy worked with the Bureau of Land Management for 12 years before founding Livestock for Landscapes in 2004. Her twelve years at the agency allowed her to pursue her goal of helping communities find ways to live profitably AND sustainably in their environment. She has been researching and working with livestock as a land management tool for over a decade. When she's not helping farmers, ranchers and land managers on-site, she writes articles, and books, and edits videos to help others turn their livestock into landscape managers.
