This week we’re publishing our very first On Pasture ebook and it’s free to On Pasture subscribers. “Drought Planning 101” is your guide to planning for resilience.
Making it through drought means planning for it long before it happens. So, from our On Pasture community comes Dave Pratt of Ranch Management Consultants. He starts us off with the steps for success. We add to the details with destocking and leasing tips. Then farmers and ranchers from all parts of the country provide examples of how they managed and adapted through drought. Greg Judy brings it all together, showing how he grazed through two tough years of drought. We hope it will help you become a drought-proof, resilient grazier. Check out this week’s Drought Planning article to see the table of contents and get a link to the download. You can also click on Bonus Content in the menu to see what we’ve already provided this year.
This content is a service to our paid subscribers to thank them for being part of the On Pasture community. And we have more ebooks in the works! Coming soon are two more, one on leasing and another on developing your own grazing plan. Each ebook is a curated collection of articles from our archives giving you information and examples you can adapt to your operation to be more sustainable and profitable. If you have suggestions for a topic you’d like us to cover, let me know.
Login and My Account Page Improved
Because the “My Account” page was confusing, we worked with our tech folks on an upgrade. First, if you’re not sure if you’re
logged in or not, look in the top right hand corner of the black menu bar. If it says “Login,” you’ll have to login. If it says “My Account,” you’re good to go. Visit “My Account” any time you want to change your email, password, or print out an invoice. When
you’re ready to read – click on “Home” in the menu bar and you’re ready to go!
If there are things that bug you and don’t seem to be working, please do let us know. We will do everything we can to make your On Pasture reading experience easy!
Thanks for reading!
