Larry began fence construction as a means to pay for college in 1972. He attended Dawson Community College and then transferred to Bozeman to attend Montana State University. By 1974, the fence construction business had become a "real" full time business and Feight Fencing was formed and operated until 1992. In 1982 Feight Fencing got involved with New Zealand electric fence and in 1987 High Country Power Fence was formed as a distribution company for the electric fence business with Snell Systems out of San Antonio TX. promoting Gallagher Power Fence and Tru-Test Livestock Scales.
In 2001, Larry and business partner Morgan Renner incorporated the partnership of High Country Power Fence into High Country Ag Marketing (HCAM). Larry directs the daily operations of the HCAM office from Whitehall, Montana.
Larry's family includes his wife, Julie, children, Max and Krystin, son-in-law, Jason and grandchildren, Hope, Reilly and Corbin. At home, football and basketball are a major interest because Julie coaches basketball and Max plays both all fall and winter.
